Seomra Spraoi

Many of Dublin's freegans hang out in Seomra Spraoi, an autonomous social centre near Mountjoy Square in the city centre. If you come to Seomra on a Wednesday evening (food is served at 7:30), there's a vegan café there and you should be able to meet them and hopefully arrange to go skipping with them sometime. You may also be interested in the bike workshop at Seomra, which is also open on Wednesday evenings. It is well equipped with tools and expertise and it's a great way to learn how to look after your own bike. In particular, it's handy for fixing up any abandoned bicycles you might happen to come across. Seomra also has a decently-sized freeshop upstairs, which is open whenever Seomra is open.
