Transport

Find info on hitchhiking at Hitchwiki.

Public transport is made of buses (blackrideability not tested), but the city is small enough for walking everywhere.

There is a train connection with Barcelona and AVE trains to Madrid and Paris.

There is an international airport approx. 10 km south from the city centre.

The highway connecting France (Perpignan) and Catalunya (Barcelona) goes around the city. check hitchwiki

Internet connectivity

Hackerspaces around Girona.

Girona has a free city wifi, but you need a phone number to receive an access code.

The public library (on carrer d'Emili Grahit) has a wifi, electricity and nice working places. In April 2016 the password is written on the walls and there is no problem entering with a backpack. It is open Monday to Saturday 10-20.

Busking

No buskers seen in April 2016. Needs more information.
