( there is sometimes people who work as controllers, they control of you bought a ticket. They always wear a white cap, do not ask me why but it is a part of their uniform. If you see them, you should probably get off. If you do encounter a ticket controller, just be confused. Either talk in your foreign language if it isn't English or talk English poorly. Remember to be nice, and understanding, and play dumb. The fine for blackriding is around 1600 Swedish kronor. As long as you play the confused tourist role, maybe with a tear or two, you will be fine.
