The Entente visa or officially "Visa Touristique Entente (VTE)" is a visa that is valid in five West African countries: Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Burkina Faso, Benin and Togo. If you plan to travel in some of these countries it's a good idea to get this visa as it can save both money and time (bureaucracy).
Niger does not always respect this visa and you might be pushed into getting a separate Nigerien visa if you show up at the border with an entente visa.
